Adeola Oladimeji

Adeola is the Founder and Managing Partner of Ascendi Capital Inc, founded in July 2020, a private investment management firm focusing on Real Assets in Western Canada, and currently has $10M assets under management (carwash and multifamily apartment building assets). With nearly two decades of experience, he has advised and invested in various sectors, including real estate, power & utilities, oil & gas, logistics, healthcare etc., locally and internationally worth over $1B USD.

Before Ascendi Capital, Adeola held key roles such as Head of Alternative Investment at TAK Asset Management – overseeing private equity investment programs and M&A transactions. Before that, Adeola held multiple senior management positions such as Director – Private Equity, CFO, and Senior Investment Adviser at Kappafrik Group. He was also a member of the investment team at the defunct Abucap, a private equity fund in Nigeria and West Africa.

Adeola has Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in finance, and is a member and charter-holder of  CAIA, CPA, and ACCA.

Adeola’s professional engagements reflect his expertise and strategic prowess, providing strategic advisory services for projects like a $4.6M CNG development in Nigeria, and spearheading successful financial transactions such as a $42M bond issue for TAK Logistics Ltd. His strategic insights have contributed to significant savings, revenue increases, and operational efficiency. He is known for his ability to evaluate and recommend lucrative investment opportunities, such as a $370M hydropower investment yielding significant returns.
